Caffeine and L-theanine: the Good, the Bad and the Myths

Hi y’all!

We just published an article on the myths surrounding coffee, caffeine and L-theanine. It seems dehydration, constipation, insomnia, hypertension, and unwelcome weight loss are commonly associated with coffee and caffeine… Not the best feats

But how much of that is actually true? What are your experiences with coffee, caffeine and L-theanine?

We looked into it, too:

How and how strong one reacts to caffeine depends on one’s caffeine sensitivity - which is very different between individuals. There are people who can ingest several hundred mgs of caffeine without noticing anything, and those that can’t even tolerate a few miligrams. If you add caffeine to your products only the first group is addressed; with a completely caffeine free product range everybody could have every product/flavour.

Hi Marba! indeed, the sensitivity depends on the person. What you propose is very interesting! We already shared it with our team and we’ll see in the future if there is an outcome

I hope there won’t be any change to the coffee plenny shake - hands down it is the best meal replacement I have tried and caffeine is just one of the additional perks.
