Haha, I cant believe you saw that! it was up for only a few minutes. Thanks for not ruining the surprise for the rest

Peanut butter! Or you could bring back specloos flavour from a couple of years ago!!!

Savoury mix, oriental flavour? Pour and add hot water…

Is it soup?
Or maybe something for baking!

Is it maybe a dairy product?

jj is working on it for years … could you take off the recyclable text from your homepage: “Not only are you eating exactly as much as you need, the amount of packaging needed per calorie is also greatly improved. Also, our packaging is recyclable. If the plant had lips and arms, it would probably kiss you in gratitude. We are currently researching the use of recycled plastic.”

it is deceiving and does not help with trusting your brand.
if that is plain wrong what about all the nutrients? one starts to wonder …
who is controlling if the product really contains what you claim?
i would pretty much prefer trusting jj and not ask those questions …

Still not tomato :frowning:
Sweetness is boring at long.

Plenny shake 3.0 plain, chai, caramel, tai tea, coconut, or cinnamon roll?

Hi @onk,

The last thing I want is for you to feel mislead! so let me shed some light on our progress:

The current Plenny Shake v3.0 packaging is :recycle: #7. This is a mix of different plastics. It can be recycled by some factories but it is a difficult process

Plenny Shake V1 and V2 had an aluminum lining in the packaging. This type of packaging was not recyclable at all.

We are talking to the packaging manufacturer to switch to :recycle: #2. This means it then can go in the recycle bin. I expect the switch to gradually happen throughout 2021. #2 is the highest attainable number at this moment for our type of food. We are also looking at using recycled material in our packaging, but this has not yet passed European standard tests and therefore it is illegal to use it.

I understand it seems like not much is happening but I guarantee you that we are working behind the scenes to find a packaging material that has the right properties for our products. We need to be able to store and keep the products safe for at least 12 months.

I agree completely! :hotsprings:

Well thanks for the update, but I pretty much knew that already from the forum. I am glad JJ is working on it and already got rid of the aluminum lining …

BUT it does not change the fact that for now the packaging #7 can’t be recycled as far as I know. If it can please let me know how/where. I live in Vienna and checked with the cities waste management and they told me straight no.

#2 would be finally recyclable, but till now JJ was arguing that this can’t be used because you would not be able to have 12 months shelf life. So till you don’t have recyclable packaging stop advertising with it.

The new product is some kind of coconut/tomato/pepper soup?

I completely agree with @onk here. I like JimmyJoy as a brand and it is disappointing to see, that you use wrong information for marketing. You would wonder whatelse is tuned to sound a little better than it is.

“It can be recycled by some factories but it is a difficult process” -> That’s a straight no, it is not recyclable, which is fair especially now that I know the reason for it from your explanation.

And I would guess it’s not a new flavor of the Plenny Shake because it doesn’t seem to fit the design. Because you often mentioned recipes recently I go with a powder you can mix with water, put in the microwave and then have a quick healthy cake. Not very likely, but why not.

@Nino, when will you actually reveal the new product?

Hello, I am really looking forward trying the new product! When will you launch it?

I hope ASAP, so I can make a large order now during black friday discounts.

I can’t yet say because we had some logistical issues that caused delays. I don’t want to make any promises that I can’t keep. You guys will be the first ones to know when I know more.

my sources say it is Pizza

You are so right! They tried some savoury recipes in the past but there were not enough sales so they abandoned these projects.

So I’m with you, anything savoury will do!

Hazelnut & coffee plenny bar seems to be a logical choice to me as A think about healthy innovations as a nut&coffee connoissor.

It might also be something like fig & almond (yet… Again a plenny bar) a very nice combination but somewhat the choice to the fruity nutty lovers.
