Savoury flavor on bars

The pizza bars were pretty bad, but I think there is still room for something more savory, I don’t always feel like eating sweet flavors and I bet I’m not the only one on this boat.

Is anything like this on the roadmap? This might be something that only sounds good on paper but it’d be cool to see

I say it again. I need something savoury also in my rotation! I envision following flavours:

  • Pretzel
  • Falafel
  • Italian Herbs with dried tomato

I’d like them chunky, give me something to bite!

The pizza bars were too strong in taste, something more subtle would really work I am sure.

italian herbs with dried tomato would be bomb if done right honestly. Or even a less sweet option of the current bars tbh, the reason why I prefer huel bars over jimmyjoy is because they feel less ‘dense’ and flavor neutral, so if you plan on eating them more frequently, I find them to be more.. enjoyable.

or just explore the world of chickpea-based side-dishes!

What I liked with the Almond&Fig bars was the “not the same texture for the whole of the bar”.

I’m really unsure of how actual mushed-or-whole chickpeas would hold up, “best before”-wise, but

  • the already mentioned falafel, or falafel “flavoured”
  • hoummous (will I ever learn how to spell it?)
  • maybe combined with the italian herbs? (think: Mediterranean - but also Eastern Mediterannean, meze, etc.)
  • something Indian? (but “low” on the spices, please - as in: lots of spices, but no “fire brigade inducing”)

Also: chickpeas, beans, … - lots of protein in those!
