Which is healthier - Plenny Shake or Huel?

One thing I noticed is that Jimmy Joy says it’s okay to eat 100% of their food, but Huel doesn’t (probably for legal reasons). But I don’t have the expertise to judge the actual nutrition.

Hey @trappedinplennypot ! Welcome to our forum

We both create nutritionally complete meals, meaning they are designed to provide all the essential nutrients a healthy adult needs. In theory, this means you can consume all your daily calories with our meals. We have some cases showing how people have been consuming only Plenny meals for long periods. You can read them here, here and here. And we know Huel has also shown that it’s possible to consume 5 of their meals per day without any issues.

Our meals are formulated based on the Reference Intake values to maintain health, so Plenny meals provide everything you need to meet your daily nutritional requirements.

However, we also recognise that a varied diet is ideal, not just for nutritional balance, but also to get other non-essential nutrients, diversity in gut microbiota, and enjoyment. So we position our meals as a convenient, nutritionally complete option that can be a part of a balanced diet, whether that’s replacing one meal a day or several.

So we wouldn’t say one of them is healthier than the other. At a nutritional level, we both provide complete nutrition with different ingredients, flavours and products :hugs:
